🎙️ New Podcast Episode: Episode 5!
In the fifth episode of tecnet | From Research to Value, we explore a topic that is often underestimated - yet is crucial to whether research makes an impact: science communication.
Our interviewee, Jana Elena Koch from the Zentrum für Medienwissen at Mediengruppe Wiener Zeitung, conducts her own research and is deeply engaged with the question of how science can be communicated in a way that has a societal impact. The conversation explores why research must not remain confined to the academic community and how complex content can be conveyed in an understandable way without losing depth. Spoiler: Good science communication is, above all, one thing - translation work.
It wasn’t easy for the moderation team, Anna Kirchmair and Leo Capari, to keep the discussion within time limits—the topic could easily have filled two episodes. Best to see for yourselves.
