A few weeks ago, our 15th m-power net session brought together experts and practitioners to discuss how tailored intellectual property (IP) strategies can accelerate innovation in higher education and research institutions. We were honored to welcome insights from the Technical University of Munich and the University of Waterloo − two leading institutions in technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
A heartfelt thank you to our speakers Elke Achhammer (TUM ForTe) and Scott Inwood (UWaterloo) for sharing their expertise:
Elke presented TUM’s structured IP strategy and the Fast-Track process, highlighting implementation, challenges, and outcomes.
Scott outlined Waterloo’s Inventor-own IP Policy, cooperative education program, and commercialization support.
The session featured an international comparison of IP policies and standardization efforts, followed by a lively Q&A that gave participants the opportunity to engage directly with our speakers.
Thank you to everyone who joined us − and to all who continue to drive innovation forward!
Stay tuned for future m-power net events.
