Dr. Christian Laurer

As a Senior Investment Manager, Christian Laurer primarily focuses on companies in the life sciences sector, including amongst others biotechnology, medical technology, diagnostics, digital health, and environmental technology. Beyond his expertise in financing and research, he possesses substantial operational experience in marketing, sales, and market research, gained during seven years in corresponding positions in the diagnostics and pharmaceutical industries. Laurer also contributes to academia as a lecturer at the University of Vienna (Business Administration in the Life Sciences). He studied biology at the University of Vienna. He wrote his dissertation at the Austrian Institute of Technology and during a research stay at Unilever Research (UK), and brings a diverse background to his role as a master car mechanic.
